In Nairobi

I don't have much time on the internet so I will make this short, but I am having an awesome time. I got into Nairobi yesterday and promptly ran into a pack of other volunteers from PeaceCorp and a water purification NGO from Canada. We saw Batman last night and had excellent Indian food and then talked until 2am. Today we went to the Maasai market. It is amazing how quickly you make friends here - it helps that everyone here is working for an NGO or PeaceCorp so we all have alot in common. I will journey to Arusha on the 29th or 30th to start my project. I hope to write lots more later - no internet at the hostel though.

Also, Qatar Airlines is the most awesome airline ever. They put me up in a sweet ass hotel for free in Doha and fed me to excess all for free because of my 13 hour layover. So far things have gone remarkably well.

Oh yes, and we travel around Nairobi in Matatu's. A van in which 6 people would usually fit comfortably can pack in about 20. We travel at high speeds. Bumps are fun.
